A couple of months ago, Bournemouth Beach became licensed to hold beach weddings ceremonies with the first one held on 27th April being broadcast live on ITV Daybreak. The marquee down on the beach looked fantastic and many couples have made this their wedding destination over some of the more traditional venues, with bookings exceeding initial expectations.

I love the idea of a beach wedding, especially one that you don’t have to travel miles for! It’s something that will always be talked about, both on the day and on every anniversary!

If I wasn’t already married this is exactly the ‘venue’ I’d pick, complete with sandcastle favours, 99p, flake starters and compulsory flips flops!!
